December 15th, 2025 Release Notes: Cucumber Support for TestRail, AI Caching

Support for TestRail cucumber steps

We now support TestRail Cucumber steps with full native integration. This allows you to seamlessly import and manage Cucumber-based test cases directly within testRigor. It eliminates manual workarounds, streamlines BDD testing, and ensures your Gherkin scenarios sync effortlessly. This will be enabled by default for newly imported test cases, so no changes are required in the import process.

Intelligent parsing for HTML tags in TestRail steps

We've also adapted the import process to better handle TestRail's recent update that introduced rich text support for test steps, by adding intelligent parsing that cleans and converts them into plain, readable text. This removes the HTML tags for cleaner test steps, which maintains data consistency to prevent parsing errors in test cases, and stays backwards-compatible with legacy steps for zero disruption.

Introduced AI Caching

Finally, we're introducing AI Caching, a breakthrough feature that intelligently stores and reuses results from common AI commands. It slashes token usage by a great margin, delivers faster response times, and reduces computational load. This should greatly improve the experience of using AI commands in testRigor.
